Mr. McQueen was portrayed driving an "S" code 390 GT Mustang in the most famous chase seen ever filmed.

 

This car has recessed working turn signal in the hood (visible from the front seat).... a'68 Mustang option .

 

In 1967 the Mustang went form a partial to a full Fastback. The exterior sheetmetal is the same for '67 & '68 cars.

This is a correct Deluxe Interior car with (fake) woodgrain appliqués . The Shelby style steering wheel is not original to the car.

 

In 1968 the VIN number is found on the door tag and on a metal plate at the bottom of the windshield (passenger side).
